1. (POSITION FILLED) DIRECTOR OF COACHING (DOC) (POSITION FILLED) - The Club is seeking a qualified individual to fill this paid position to develop and grow an established, young travel program in Southern Maryland. Applicants for this position must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a current, valid work permit (visa). Applicants must possess a state-level license with a national-level license preferred or capability and desire to obtain same. Applicants must have sufficient coaching and playing experience in the game and be able to obtain a favorable background check.
The Club DOC is required to work varied hours during the week, to include many weekends. The DOC must possess excellent organizational skills and be unafraid to communicate effectively to peers, elders and children. The DOC will be responsible for the hiring, firing and management of all Club travel program coaches. The DOC will be responsible for developing a curricula which showcases "the game is the teacher, not the drill" mantra; emphasizing player development for the U8 through U12 age groups, team development for the U13 through U18 age groups and Club development across all age groups. The DOC will organize and administer the Club travel program try-outs, coaching events and player clinics. The DOC will attend Executive Board meetings, serving as the liaison between administrators and Club coaches. The DOC will design and implement a player and coach evaluation program.

2. Waldorf SC Concession Stand Manager (Posted 11 July 2009) - The Club is seeking a person or persons who have experience in the restaurant or food service industry and are interested in VOLUNTEERING (this is not a paid position) to take over the management of the concession stand at the Bryantown Sports Complex. The stand at Bryantown is owned by the county and is outfitted and operated by the Club. This position is VERY time intensive and requires a great deal of devotion and sacrifice. During the season, this position is responsible for the inventory, ordering, and delivery of stand consumables. This position ensures the stand (and therefore the Club) is in compliance with county health and food standards. During Club play dates (both recreational and travel programs), this position ensures the stand is open for operation and administers to the needs of those operating the stand (supplies, money collection, equipment etc). If there are not operators of the stand, this position will often times operate the stand themselves. This position will maintain the Club contracts with local vendors and administer the Club’s concession stand bank account. At the completion of each season, this position ensures all equipment is in serviceable condition and the stand is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the off season.

3. Waldorf SC Grants and Fundraisers Chairperson (Posted 1 February 2012) - The Club is seeking a person or persons who have experience in submitting grant packages and other types of solicitation of funds. This is a new position and we have very little experience dealing with this topic. This person or persons will be instrumental in soliciting funds for the improvement of current facilities and the acquisition of additional facilities for our Club.

4. (POSITION FILLED) Waldorf SC Sponsorship Chairperson (POSITION FILLED) - This person is responsible for the planning, development, execution and administration of the Club sponsorship program. This position can be MODERATELY time intensive, generally during the November to February timeframe. This person is responsible for the creation of the Club sponsorship solicitation letter and sponsorship agreement. They maintain the database of businesses and establishments the Club targets during the sponsorship drive. They will work closely with the Media Director in the distribution of the letter and agreement to the local businesses and establishments. This person will track all sponsorships throughout the year ensuring Club compliance with the agreement. They will also track the sponsorships to ensure the sponsors receive the plaques at the end of every season. They will be charged with the distribution of these plaques.
