Waldorf SC is seeking highly motivated, boys and girls U8-aged soccer players with above-average skills and a desire to learn more about the game to fill positions on our U8 RecPlus team for the 2010-2011 soccer year. There is no cost for trying out and the tryouts are a perfect forum to evaluate your child’s progress in the game of soccer.  Please read this article for more information on the Waldorf SC Fury!

We are primarily looking for players with birthdates from August, 1 2002 thru July 31, 2003 (true U8s). Exceptional players born between August 1, 2003 to July 31, 2004 (true U7s) are also welcome to tryout for an opportunity to "play up". The U8 RecPlus tryouts will be held on Wednesday, June 30 and Thursday, July 8 at Pinefield Community Park on Pinefield Rd in Waldorf, MD. Check in is at 5:30pm and tryouts will run from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. It is highly recommended that you bring your child(ren) to both tryout dates.

Pre-registration is required in advance to tryout for the team. To pre-register, please e-mail the following information to the Club’s Director of Coaching, Mr. Paul Cushion, at waldorfdoc@verizon.net:
