ABOUT THE COACH

Kevin Meadows was a two time first team all-state high school soccer player in West Virginia. He played four years of Division 1 college soccer at Marshall University. Kevin holds a US Soccer Federation “E” license. Kevin’s coaching experience started with the Vinson High School boys soccer team in Huntington, WV and has been coaching travel soccer teams for over 10 years. His teams have finished undefeated in the nationally recognized National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) and have won multiple tournaments.

Waldorf Blaze U13

THE WALDORF BLAZE IS AN UPCOMING U-13 BOYS TEAM PLAYING IN THE NCSL (National Capital Soccer League).

The team is coached by Darius Qualls who currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "D" license.

His coaching experience includes 15 years as a very successful National Collegiate Association of America (NCAA) coach at Towson University, a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) coach at Prince George’s Community College and a Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) coach at Bishop McNamara Catholic School. At the youth levels he has coached numerous club teams (girls and boys) and has been involved in several camps for the last 22 years. Coach Darius Qualls is also the current Maryland ODP (Olympic Development Program) U-14 Boys Head Coach.

ABOUT THE COACH

Colin brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience to his position as Associate Head Coach. Colin played for the Hawks in 2003, and helped CSM win the 2003 Region XX Championship. He was selected All MDJUCO, All Region XX, and to the All Region XX Tournament team.

Colin began his playing career with Heart of Midlothian youth team in his native Scotland. He represented Scotland in the Four Nations Tournament, which included Wales, Northern Ireland, and England. He played in the Scottish 2^nd division with the East Fife Football Club and Cowdenbeath Football Club. He has also played with Easthouses Lily and Hawick Royal Albert in the East of Scotland League. Colin is currently playing in the WISL with the British Tigers.

His coaching experience includes serving as Head Coach of Towson Catholic’s varsity soccer team. He is also a select travel evaluator for the Waldorf Soccer Club and an evaluator for the Olympic Development Program. He was the Assistant Camp Director with Baltimore Blast Hall of Famer Keith Van Eron Soccer Academy. Colin is currently the Director of Coaching for the Waldorf Soccer Club.

The Waldorf Ice play in the competitive National Capital Soccer League (NCSL).

Practices are T - Th at Pinefield Park.

Waldorf Strykers U11

About the Coach

The team is coached by Alex Ughiovhe. His coaching experience includes 7 yrs at both club and high school level. He coached such teams as the Annandale Samba, Wilson Tigers, DC United Academy and Oxon Hill High School just to name a few. Alex Ughiovhe played at Howard University and captained the team in 2006. From there he went on to play in the MLS for the Chicago Fire and DC United. Later on he joined Crystal Palace USA in Baltimore. In 2008 they traveled to England to play Crystal Palace who was currently in the Championship League, which is a league below the Premier League.

Coach Biko has worked 2 years with the Washington Soccer Club summer programs. He has played 4 years of Maryland Olympic Development Program, varsity soccer at DeMatha Catholic High School, and D.C United’s U-17 Academy team. He went on to play Division 1 College Soccer at Alabama A&M University amd later played with the PDL’s Northern Virginia Royals.
